Pączki -Polish Jelly Donuts
Jenny's Polish heritage includes pączki which are traditional jam-filled doughnuts. "Polish pączki are usually fried but mine are oven-baked, light as a feather, and filled with jam or custard."

Polish Pierogi - Potato & Cheese Pierogi
Low fat and delicious
Jenny's potato and cheese pierogi are a healthy version of this traditional Polish treat. Pierogi can be made with various fillings like sauerkraut & mushroom, meat, and even fruit but Jenny's favorite ones are filled with a delicious mashed potato mixture with added cream cheese and browned onions. !
How to make pączki. / Jak zrobić pączki.
Step 1 Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk.
Step 2 Mix all dough ingredients in a bowl.
Step 3 Then knead to smooth dough. Put in bowl and let stand covered for 1 hour.
Step 4 After one hour, remove the dough from the bowl and knead again.
Step 5 Roll the dough to a thickness of about 1.5 cm ( one half inch). Use a glass or cup to cut into circles.
Step 6 Heat the oil in a frying pan and put in the donuts. Oil should be 175 C (350 F). Fry on both sides until golden brown color, and place donuts on absorbent paper or a non-stick surface.
Step 7 Use a syringe to fill donuts with jam. Frost and sprinkle with almond flakes.
