Tatry Polish Folk Song and Dance Ensemble was established in September 1980 by Father Jozef Calik, a priest at St. Hedwig's Parish. The aim of the group is to present, promote and preserve the traditional Polish folk culture. Currently (2014) Tatry has five groups, aged from three years old to young adults. The current artistic director and choreographer for the older groups is Darek Pukas and for juniors Danuta Skolasinska and Olivia Kosowska. Tatry enjoys grat popularity and a well-deserved, prominent place in the Polish community.
